Edits

“Easy reading is damn hard writing editing.”
– Nathaniel Hawthorne

I’m an editor who approaches each project with a reader’s perspective.  Whether it’s a book, an article or a blog entry, I’d love the chance to walk alongside you as you work to tell your story in the most powerful way possible.

Here’s what I offer:

  • Content editing: This is the most in-depth form of editing. What’s the core message? How should this story be told? What’s missing from your work?
  • Copy editing: This phase helps improve physical formatting, stylistic consistency and fact-checking. This can be anything from grammar checks to restructuring (or cutting) text.
  • Proofreading: This is usually the last step in the writing/editing process and involves getting rid of cosmetic errors. It’s the final run-through to catch any problems with your content.
